The 19th Heads of State and Government Summit of the Group of 20 (G20) will take place in November 2024 in Rio de Janeiro, marking Brazil's first term as the G20 rotating presidency as South America’s largest economy.

Ana Cristina Carvalho, Chair of the Tourism Association at Federation Chambers of Foreign Trade (FCCE) of Brazil, shared in an interview with China News Network that this year, which marks the 50th anniversary of Brazil-China diplomatic ties, has seen significant progress in bilateral relations. In particular, enhanced diplomatic relations have made travel between the two countries more accessible.

Ana further noted that this year’s G20 in Rio offers a comprehensive platform for participants to discuss topics such as health, education, and urban quality of life. 樊嘉向记者介绍，肝癌在中国的发病率高，新发病例接近40万，其中约70%至80%患者在发现时已属中晚期，丧失手术机会。“肝癌治疗面临多重挑战，其复杂性源于高度异质性，缺乏统一的基因突变模式，这增加了彻底根治的难度。”他指出，深入理解肝癌的发生、发展、复发及转移机制，需依赖于基础研究和分子生物学的进展。

他表示，针对具有高危因素的肝癌患者，如乙型肝炎感染者、肝硬化患者及有家族史的个体，应定期进行筛查。目前，血清学诊断和胶原蛋白检查虽价格相对便宜，但敏感性和特异性有限，约60%的准确性。近年来，通过国际合作与研发，已推出敏感性和特异性超过80%的微小核糖核酸诊断试剂盒，为高危人群提供了更准确的筛查手段。
